Workplan priorities for 2024-2025

We have updated our priorities for 2024 -2025.


As the independent consumer champion of health and social care services in Hampshire, we look into services and hear from the people who use them.


We would like to thank everyone who takes the time to complete our surveys which help us to decide what we will concentrate on over the next 12 month period.

Our internal activities


Staff training

  • New staff induction on internal systems, inc Healthwatch England (HWE) training


Volunteers

  • New volunteer officer recruited

  • Recruitment campaigns and engagement for volunteers


Advisory Board

  • Recruitment of board members

  • Quarterly Advisory Board meetings in public

  • Advisory Board Members attending strategic level meetings to gather intel and push patient perspective


Subcontracts

  • Action Hampshire (engagement)

  • Royal Association for Deaf People (translation)



Healthwatch Hampshire Quality Assurance 


  • Fortnightly staff meetings

  • Feedback capture onto our database

  • Monthly data reporting to HWE 

  • Quarterly reporting to commissioners, Healthwatch service provider and Hants & IOW health system leaders

  • Internal quality assurance

  • Feedback on quality of our interactions

  • Scanning intel and publications for new trends, receive data from Action Hants and our engagement team

  • Revisiting project recommendations after 6 months to review take up by commissioners/providers

  • HWH Annual report published end of June 2024 and presented to Hants Care Governance Board
