Our Mental Health Services Insight Report

The four Healthwatch branches in Hampshire and Isle of Wight have come together to share what local people have told us about their experiences of mental health services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.  

Based on feedback gathered between July and December 2025, this report highlights the challenges people face in accessing timely and appropriate support, including long waiting times, difficulties navigating services, and barriers to early intervention. It also recognises the positive difference that compassionate and dedicated staff can make to people's experiences.

By bringing together the voices of patients, families and carers, we aim to support service improvement and help ensure that future mental health services are more accessible, joined-up and person-centred.

We would like to thank everyone who shared their experiences and contributed to this important piece of work.
