Join our online conversation on neonatal and maternity care

We will be running regular online Community Conversations to hear directly from people about their experiences of health and social care services.

These sessions are held online via Microsoft Teams and are open to anyone living in Hampshire. They provide an opportunity to share views, discuss experiences, and help highlight what is working well and what could be improved in local services. The sessions will not be presentations, they are led by you and will be informal, friendly discussions facilitated by our staff. No specialist knowledge is needed, and everyone is welcome to take part.

Each session focuses on a different topic, with our first topic being maternity and neonatal services. Future sessions may cover areas such as GP services, hospitals, mental health, dentistry, social care, or other current health and care issues. Participants are also welcome to raise any other experiences they feel are important.

Online Community Conversations help ensure that people who may not be able to attend in-person events, such as; carers, working people, housebound residents, or those living in rural areas, still have the opportunity to share their views and be heard. All feedback collected is used to help Healthwatch Hampshire understand people’s experiences and influence improvements in local health and care services.

Please note that Healthwatch Hampshire does not get involved in individual cases. These sessions are insight sessions to help us understand people’s experiences and identify wider themes, but we can provide signposting to different services if needed.
