New Pharmacy service for Urinary Tract Infections

Worried you might have a urinary tract infection? Women aged 16-64yrs, who are not pregnant or breastfeeding, can now visit their community pharmacist for advice and support to manage.


Did you know community pharmacies are there for more than just prescriptions? Now, many local pharmacies are offering a new service to women aged 16-64 years, who are not pregnant or breastfeeding, by providing advice, guidance and where necessary medication to help manage uncomplicated urinary tract infections.


Make sure you know the signs - urine cloudiness, burning or stinging on passing urine and the need to go more frequently and ensure you seek help before it gets worse.


Those who fall outside of this criteria should continue to contact their GP surgery in the usual way. Find more information on the Frimley Health website here.
