A Dementia and Driving Decision aid- UK version now published

Dementia and Driving: a decision aid (DDDA) has just been published in a UK version having originated in Australia.

The DDDA is a person centred resource that enables drivers living with dementia to be central in the decision about driving, driving retirement and planning for alternative mobility options.

The booklet was first developed in Australia and then adapted for the UK through rigorous research methods with individuals living with a dementia, their family carers and practitioners.

This resource was developed through an international collaboration between Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust with Aged and Dementia Health Research and Education (ADHERe) centre at the University of Wollongong in Australia.

The DDDA UK Version is available on the ADHERe webpage here.
