As a local Healthwatch representative, you would have the power to enter premises owned or controlled by health and social care providers. You would observe the nature and quality of services, speak to patients, their families and carers and staff, and feedback your finding for us to report on.
Ambassador Role
The Ambassador role provides invaluable support to our small staff team with providing a variety of duties including collecting views from members of the public. This role helps us deliver essential health and social care projects and ensures the views of patients are represented locally and nationally.
My involvement provides an opportunity for patients to tell their story. We gain an understanding of how health and social services can improve and our recommendations are welcomed by the providers.
