Wheelchair Service Review

Over the past two years Healthwatch Hampshire have been working closely with West Hampshire CCG and Millbrook Healthcare Services to improve experiences for people accessing the Hampshire Wheelchair Service.

As part of this work Healthwatch supported a full service review and undertook many of the qualitative elements of the review.

The report is divided into the following seven sections, and each main chapter contains recommendations for future improvements:

Healthwatch Hampshire also created a seperate independent report focussing on servicxe user interviews and focus groups with stakeholder organisations. Our report can be accessed below.

We continue to work closely with the CCG and Millbrook. Healthwatch are represented on the CCG Task and Finish Group to assess nogoing changes and implemetation of the recommendations in the review. We will also be working closely with Millbrrok to ensure ongoing feedback fro service users, carers and the wider public. We will publish updates here throughout 2018.
