Head of Healthwatch - Neil Bolton-Heaton

Neil is the Head of Healthwatch and holds responsibility for Healthwatch organisations in Hampshire, Wokingham, Slough and Portsmouth.

Neil has worked across the health, social care and social enterprise sectors at both operational and strategic level. Neil is passionate about quality service experience and in ensuring voice and representation in the design, development and delivery of health and social care services.

Kate Knowlton - Volunteer & Partnership Lead

Kate wanted to be a zookeeper, but ended up in Insurance where she worked for 18 years. After taking some time out of work after having her youngest son, she started working as a Learning Support Assistant in a Secondary School, providing one to one support to students. Then Kate joined the Rose Road Association as a Participation Officer for Parent Voice, creating a network of parent/carers and professionals across Hampshire.

Alex Solomon - Project Lead

Alex began her career with Richmond Borough Council Youth Service as Assistant to an Area Youth Work Lead. She then moved to working in the third sector, managing an education, training and employment project for people in the criminal justice system.  After moving to Salisbury, Alex set up and managed a mentoring scheme for vulnerable adults with complex needs. Her experience delivering frontline services has made her passionate about helping people influence and shape the services they use, ensuring they have access to the help and support they need.

Tracy Torr - Communications & Engagement Lead

Tracy joined the team in July 2019.  Tracy joins us with a solid knowledge base of communications and project management across the health and commercial sector. She previously worked at the Clinical Commissioning Group for over 6 years and other roles have included working for a local hospice and a government organisation.

Tracy is looking forward to working closely with local people and organisations to make sure their voices are heard and used to inform how local services are provided.

Sue Alford, Service Manager for Citizens Advice Hampshire

Sue is a Service Manager for Citizens Advice Hampshire, a partner of Healthwatch Hampshire. Since 2008 Sue has delivered projects and services for Citizens Advice across Dorset and Hampshire. Prior to this, Sue worked for a major blue chip finance organisation managing and delivering IT based solutions and projects globally.
