Ann has worked in a variety of operational and strategic roles in a mixture of organisations within the NHS and the private sector which cover acute/community and primary care as well as commissioning.
Ann is committed to the establishment of Social Prescribing within Primary Care.
Pat Bull, Non-Executive Director
Pat joined Healthwatch Hampshire in May 2018 after 20 years in the NHS in a variety of public and patient facing roles, including patient experience manager and GP manger at a local NHS acute trust. Prior to her retirement, Pat worked in commissioning long term conditions for West Hampshire CCG. This included working on major service reconfigurations, prevention initiatives in stroke and diabetes and service improvements.
Before joining the NHS, Pat had a successful career in marketing for a number of well known companies at director level.
Tracey-Clare Dunlop - Non-Executive Director
Dr Subashini M - Non-Executive Director
Suba is a medical doctor with a special interest in patient-reported outcomes, data science and wellbeing. She currently works in health insurance where she uses her clinical expertise to commission value-based healthcare.
She previously worked in various NHS and private hospitals in London and Cambridgeshire. She is passionate about empowering individuals to make informed choices about their care and is driven to make healthcare as inclusive and accessible as possible.
Jonathan Chambers - Non-Executive Director
Jonathan is a research scientist with a background in neuroscience. He has worked in a variety of clinical, operational and strategic roles in the NHS and pharmaceutical industry. Jonathan currently works as an independent medical affairs consultant.
Jonathan is committed to improving health and medical education in the Hampshire region.
Richard Mackay - Executive Director
Richard spent most of his career in the IT industry with roles ranging from European finance director to non-executive and executive directorships.
He is currently a trustee and treasurer of Citizens Advice Gosport and Citizens Advice Hampshire. He chairs the Hampshire Macmillan Citizens Advice Service and is CitAH's nominated director on the board of Healthwatch Hampshire.
Emma Leatherbarrow - Executive Director
As Director of Partnerships for our provider organisation, Help & Care, Emma is responsible for ensuring high quality Healthwatch services are delivered in 10 areas, including Hampshire. She brings experience from wide ranging roles in the public and voluntary sectors which have helped her to develop an excellent knowledge base across the breadth of public policy, from health improvement to welfare.
Ann Brosnan - Board Administrator
Ann comes from a background in marketing. She then went on to become a business coach and customer service trainer. Eight years caring for her mother with dementia led to an interest in Social Care and a role as media representative for Carers UK. She currently teaches dance fitness, works as a SCENAR practitioner and is Secretary of her Surgery Patient Participation Group.
